When Edelman decided to move offices to Washington, DC they were looking for a way to incorporate the history of the surrounding city into their new office design. Gensler Architects planned to turn the famous city circles of Washington Circle, Columbus Circle, and Dupont Circle into a flooring stencil. These stencils, 25 in total, became the focal point of the flooring in the entrance and communal areas.
